Ethical & Responsible Governance

I understand the issues and opportunities available in Precinct 1. I believe in public service and have a genuine interest in civic responsibility and as a Servant Leader, I am also fair, ethical, and willing to listen. I will help make local decisions that will best represent and serve ALL the residents of Precinct 1— regardless of economic level. I also can work effectively and successfully with people in Precinct 1. I pride myself in my ability to be fair and to treat everyone equally and professionally.

As Precinct 1 Commissioner, I plan to work with you, the residents, other Commissioners, and to always follow the law. Each decision must have a basis in law. The Guide to Texas Laws for County Officials, from the Texas Association of Counties (TAC), Duties of County Commissioners, Texas Government Code will be a great benefit.
